The objective of Pacific Health teaching and learning is to provide a foundation for the practice of medicine in Pacific health when working with Pacific peoples and pacific communities.
The opportunity to contribute to improved Pacific health and achieve good health outcomes when working with Pacific is recognised as an important aspect of the role of New Zealand’s health practitioners
We aim to support learning that will ultimately contribute to positive relationships with Pacific, excellent medical practice and Pacific health.
WHERE TO BEGIN?
Our online Learning resources are organised based on the vertical module used for the Pacific Health Curriculum at Otago Medical School. There is a hub of resources for each year of your learning. Some resources may be light on content early on in your learning but as you progress through your studies, more content will be made available.
